Quick Update!

I've received many, many kilograms of mill end cones today, of all sorts of flavors of yarn (wool, alpaca, silk, cottons, blends, you name it!) from Peru. This is material that would've been discarded as waste by many other mills; a real shame, as this is perfectly wonderful fiber. It feels great to have a partner who will go the extra mile to find value in what is commonly seen as disposable. I'm going to be spending a lot of my time in the next little while getting my mechanical skein winder hooked-up so I can get these ends packaged-up into proper hanks. I'll show it all off once the winding is finished.
